The 10th Annual Daejeon Together Day Festival 제10회 세계인 어울림 한마당이 10월 27일 대전시청 앞 보라매공원에서 열렸습니다. 이날 축제는 대전시민들이 재미있고 친밀한 환경에서 교류할 수 있는 소통의 장이었습니다. The 10th Annual Daejeon Together Day Festival was held on October 27 at Boramae Park behind city hall. The purpose of the festival was to help the residents of Daejeon exchange culture in a fun and friendly environment. 지역기업과 상인들, 기관들이 한자리에 모여 세계 각국의 문화를 체험할 수 있는 부스와 게임을 설치했는데요. 5개 대륙 대표들과 여섯번째로 참가하는 사람들은 다양한 국제요리의 맛을 즐겼습니다. 또 지역 공예가들은 보석, 해시계, 커피 등 그들의 상품을 판매하는 부스를 운영했습니다. Local businesses, vendors, and agencies set up a number of booths and games to exchange cultural knowledge and understanding. Representatives from 5 continents, and attendees from a sixth, enjoyed the smells and tastes of the plethora of international dishes. Local artisans had booths to sell their goods, which included jewelry, sundries, and coffee. 많은 부스들이 방문객들이 체험할 수 있도록 도왔는데요. 팬 페인팅, 한복 입어보기, rock salt art 등 다양한 프로그램이 마련됐습니다. 또 전통놀이 게임은 참가자들이 DICC와 관련된 스티커를 얻을 수 있도록 했는데, 이는 상을 주기위한 용도였습니다. 완벽한 경험을 위해서는 반드시 참여해야하는 이벤트였어요. There were a number of booths dedicated to providing attendees with a hands on experience, some of them projects included fan painting, trying on hanbok, and rock salt art. The traditional games allowed attendees to score points with the DICC by giving stickers for participation, which would be used for prizes. It was a grand event that one must attend to fully experience. Students from the Woosong Culinary are Departments prepare German sausages and eclairs. Attendees were excited to taste these delicious foods from the students. 우송대 요리관련 학과 학생들이 학과 독일소세지와 eclairs를 준비합니다. 참석자들은 학생들이 만든 맛있는 음식을 맛볼 수 있어 즐거워했습니다. Cooking Jollof Rice and Egusi Soup, this gentleman prepared some great Nigerian food. Jollof Rice와 Egusi Soup를 요리하는 이 신사는 훌륭한 나이지리아 음식을 준비했습니다. The military dazzled the audience with their stylish uniforms at the fashion show.They later serenaded the audience with an enchanting song. 군인들은 패션쇼에서 세련된 제복을 선보이며 관객들의 눈을 사로잡았는데요. 나중에는 매혹적인 노래로 청중들을 향한 세레나데를 펼쳤습니다. There was train building, fan painting, and coloring or traditional Russian Matryoshka dolls. 참석자들은 부스에서 만족스러운 체험을 했는데요. 기차 건물, 팬 페인팅, 채색, 전통 러시아 마도르시카 등 다양한 체험이 있었습니다. 대전지역 청소년들은 한국 문화를 경험할 수 있는 가장 좋은 방법을 연구하고 있었는데요. 저는 지역에 머무르기를 선택했습니다. 보통 현지인과 함께 있을 때 문화의 모든 부분을 경험할 수 있고, 특히 찻집 방문과 같은 독특한 경험을 할 수 있습니다. Local youth were doing research on the best ways to experience Korean culture. I chose stay with the locals. Usually when one stays with the locals they get to experience all parts of the culture, especially unique activities like visiting a tea house. At this booth, Korean tea and rice cake is served to visitors. The tea was quite delicious, as was the rice cake. 방문객에게 한국의 차와 떡을 제공하는 부스입니다. 차도 꽤 맛있었고, 떡도 맛있었습니다. On one side of the park, there was food. On the other there were booths for hands on experiences and games. In the middle was a flea market. At the flea market, visitors could buy second hand items, handicrafts from local artisans, and sample snacks from local cafes. 공원 한쪽에 음식코너가 마련됐습니다. 다른 쪽에는 손으로 체험과 게임을 할 수 있는 부스들이 있었습니다. 중간에 있는 벼룩시장에서는 방문객들이 중고품과 현지 장인의 수공예품, 현지 카페의 간식을 구매할 수 있었습니다. 대전에서 함께 살기로 결정한 주변 사람들을 더욱 가깝게 만든 멋진행사였는데요. 문화적 이해를 높이는 가장 좋은 방법은 서로에 대해 배우는 것입니다. 이러한 유형의 이벤트가 앞으로도 많이 기대됩니다. 축제를 즐기고 나서 다른 나라 사람을 볼 때, 저는 그들에게 더 가까이 다가 갈 것입니다. It was definitely an awesome event that brought people from around that have chosen to reside in Daejeon world closer together. The best way to promote cultural understanding is by learning about each other. I look forward to more of these types of events. After my experiences at the festival, when I see a person from another country, I feel closer to them.

[상암 하늘공원] 가을 억새축제의 밤풍경
핑크뮬리를 보러 가는 주차장에서~ 벌써 꽤나 단풍이 들었더군요. 날은 그리 좋지 않았지만~ 억새는 당시 덜 피었으니 지금쯤이 제일이지 않을까 싶네요. 뜨개질로 뜬 올챙이라는데 좀...다른..게.. 드디어 야간 조명이 켜지기 시작했습니다. 코스모스밭에도~ 거울나무에도 빛이 오가니 좋던~ 사람들이 많이들 찍으시더군요. 억새가 몽환적인~ 맹꽁이 터널에도 소원이 한가득~ 손하트 발하트 더블~ 줄서서 찍으시던 ㅎㅎ 다만 핑크뮬리 쪽은 조명이 거의 없어 아쉽더군요. 사람들이 몰리는걸 방지하기 위해서인지...조명에 비친 것도 좋았을텐데~ 빙글빙글 돌아가는 조명
제주도 국제관함식 불꽃축제 밤 하늘을 수놓다
방금 가족과 함께 제주도 축제 국제관함식 마지막 시간을 보고 왔습니다 오후 7시 15분부터 시작된다는 불꽃축제 소식에 7시부터 기다려서 보고 왔어요 춥지도 않고 바람도 크게 없었으며 여러 가지 환경이 딱 적당했기 때문에 편안하게 평생 잊지 못할 행복한 추억 하나 또 만들고 올 수 있었습니다사실 요즘 불꽃축제 워낙 유행이라 전국 다양한 행사 때마다 행해지고 있고 서울, 부산 등 몇몇 도시에서 큰 축제로 진행되기도 하는데 그런 거 한 번 보려고 하면 낮부터 자리 잡고 기다려야 한다는 얘기를 듣게 됩니다 그런데 저는 오늘 제주 국제관함식 보러 오후 6시 45분쯤 출발해서 6시 55분 도착 주차를 하고 자리 잡으러 가는 시간 7시 바.......
[하동] 해질녘 코스모스밭 - 북천 코스모스 메밀꽃 축제
북천역은 예전 간이역 탐방을 하다가 알게 되었고, 선로개량 전 경전선 탐방하며 한번 들러본 적 있었다. 가을에는 코스모스가 그렇게 유명하다고 하는데 선로 개량이 되기까지 가볼 기회가 없다가 이번 진주여행때 한번 들러보았다. 북천역과 옛 경전선 선로는, 구선 활용의 정석(?)이 되어버린 레일바이크로 탈바꿈했고, 아예 신역사 옆으로 넓은 땅에다가 코스모스와 메밀꽃을 심어 축제장을 꾸며 놓았다. 참고로 축제는 오늘(10/7)까지라고 하는데, 설마 축제가 끝났다고 코스모스를 싹 치우지는 않...겠지요? 코스모스밭 한가운데 배 모양의 전망대가 설치되어 있는데, 거기서 보면 이 꽃밭의 스케일이 실감이 난다. 구 경전선 선로 건너편에는 메밀밭이... 코스모스 꽃밭을 지나, 철교 아래를 건너 메밀밭으로 향했
