Ella Fitzgerald - Summertime
재즈 넘버 가운데 명곡으로 불리는 '서머타임 Summertime' 은 재즈를 비롯한 대중음악, 클래식을 아우르는 작품을 쓴 미국 작곡가이자 피아니스트인 조지 거슈윈 George Gershwin이 1935년 발표한 오페라 를 위해 1934년에 작곡한 아리아로 시작을 했습니다. 오페라 원작 소설 작가 듀보스 헤이워드 와 아이라 거슈윈이 가사를 썼습니다. 이후 빌리 홀리데이가 1936년 9월에 녹음한 버전이 당시 팝 차트에서 12위에 올랐고 루이 암스트롱 Louis Armstrong 과 엘라 피츠제럴드 Ella Fitzgerald 가 1959년 Porgy and Bess 앨범에 발표한 이 곡을 기반으로 다시 큰 히트를 했습니다. 이 곡은 꾸준히.......
