[R.I.P.] Russell Malone (1964~2024)
[R.I.P.] Russell Malone (November 8, 1963 – August 23, 2024) 리더로서 그리고 사이드맨으로서 재즈 기타의 전통을 충실하게 이어갔던 기타리스트 러셀 말론, 그가 8월 23일 심장마비로 세상을 떠났다. 1988년 지미 스미스와 함께 활동한 것을 시작으로 이후 해리 코닉 주니어, 다이애나 크롤과 함께 했고 솔로 아티스트로서 특유의 담백함을 머금은 연주를 통해 재즈 기타의 전통을 이어갔던 러셀 말론이기에 그가 세상을 떠난 것이 더더욱 아쉽고 안타깝기만 하다. Rest in Peace~
