House between Gardens by TEC Taller EC 채움과 비움이 어긋난 격자구조를 이룬 집 280m²(약 85평) 규모의 에콰도르 주택이다. 이 집은, 2x4칸으로 이루어진 8칸짜리 격자 구조 중 4칸은 건물로 채우고 4칸은 비움으로써, 내부 공간과 정원이 번갈아 가며 섞인 독특한 형태로 지어졌다. 한쪽의 두 칸에는 공용 공간을, 나머지 한쪽의 두 칸에는 개인 공간을 번갈아 가며 배치한 다음, 네 칸의 공간들을 종 방향의 복도를 통해 하나로 연결했다. 그리고 공간들을 정원을 향해서는 개방하고 도로를 향한 앞면은 폐쇄적으로 만듦으로써, 밖으로부터의 프라이버시는 확보하고 정원과는 자연스럽게 연결시켰다. 하부는 벽돌로, 지붕은 강판으로 마감.......
