쐐기 박듯 기존 주택 사이의 빈 공간을 메운 도시 주택, Wedge Villa by Cadence
Wedge Villa by Cadence 쐐기 박듯 기존 주택 사이의 빈 공간을 메운 도시 주택 벵갈루루 도심의 동향 대지에 지은 침실 4개짜리 주택이다. 1층은, 주차장, 홈 오피스, 도우미 숙소, 현관 로비 등으로 이루어졌다. 2층 높이의 가족실, 거실, 주방, 식사 공간, 침실 등으로 이루어진 2층에는, 바깥마당을 확보하여 식물로 녹색 환경을 조성했다. 침실들과 다목적 공간으로 이루어진 3층과 4층에도 외부 공간인 발코니와 테라스가 설치되었다. 2400평방피트(약 67평) 대지에 위치한 이 집은, 틈에 박아 메우거나 고정하는 쐐기처럼 기존 주택 사이의 빈 공간을 꽉 채우도록 지어졌다. 이 콘셉트는, 외관의 디테일에도 잘 표현되었다. 눈부신 직사광.......

Private House by Aires Mateus 공중 물풍선 폭탄? 웅덩이 형태의 옥상 수영장이 있는 단독주택 맞붙은 두 채의 낡은 창고를, 그 외벽체로 에워싸인 한 채의 주택으로 통합한 사례이다. 이 집의 옥상에는, 슬래브를 웅덩이 구조로 만든 수영장이 설치되었다. 오목한 옥상 수영장 구조를 거실 천장에 그대로 반영하여, 과감한 이 디자인 요소의 조형미를 내부에서도 감상할 수 있게 했다. 파상의 이 형태는, 허물어져가는 기존 벽체의 이미지를 떠올리게 할 뿐만 아니라, 공간적 긴장감을 불러일으키기에 충분하다. 타이머의 작동으로 특정 시간이 경과하면 터지게 만든 공중 물풍선 폭탄 아래에서 진행하는 게임의 긴장감과 비슷할 듯. 독특하고.......
